“Unibirds , is a project that was born as a result of the project Birds from Colombia presented in Brussels in February, in the framework of the Bright Brussels 2020 festival, there we proposed the work “Nest” which, through a semi-abstract exhibition integrated in an immersive installation with a 7. 1 sound worked by our ally Miguel Navas from Latintronics, sought to unveil the Birds of Colombia.

We were given the task of choosing birds in three categories; endemic birds, birds with displacement behavior due to the consequences of global warming, and endangered species according to the red book of birds of the Humboldt. This classification is associated with an RGB color that would be revealed according to the light received and a synchronized sound.

Unibirds, is a visual revelation of the biodiversity of our country, which seeks to communicate a message: preserving our environment in times of climate change, is a holistic issue, a responsibility to ourselves.”
